​There are few sights more powerful than a Golden Eagle gliding fast over an upland ridge, or more joyful than a Red Squirrel leaping through a woodland canopy. Both belong to our wild landscapes, yet both need practical, sustained support if they are to thrive. Restoring Upland Nature exists to protect and and revive these and other special species and habitats so closely connected with the uplands. We work through partnerships and community engagement, and with the best available science, to help nature recover and flourish across southern Scotland and northern England.
